Missing boy returns home

A 10-year-old boy who went missing Thursday afternoon was found safe this morning.

J.J. Hill left his Spokane Valley home at about 3 p.m. Thursday. By nighttime he hadn’t returned and his mother was growing increasingly concerned, according to a sheriff department news release. Hill takes several medications and has the mental capacities of a 7-year-old.

Around 7:45 a.m. Hill was reported home and safe, according to a news release
