Gonzaga’s Mark Few was named a semifinalist for the Naismith Coach of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Friday.

Few is one of 10 semifinalists. Villanova’s Jay Wright won the award last year.

Few’s Bulldogs are 29-1 and ranked No. 4. The Zags spent four weeks at No. 1 before falling to BYU in the regular-season finale.

It’s Few’s 10th straight season with at least 25 wins. He has led Gonzaga to 17 straight NCAA tournament appearances since taking over as head coach in 2000.

The Naismith list will be narrowed to four finalists on March 16.
