Man robs woman at ATM, but deputies know where he lives

A woman reported being robbed at an ATM in North Spokane Saturday morning, but deputies knew just where to look to find the suspect.

The woman told deputies that she withdrew $400 from the ATM at Chase Bank at 902 W. Francis Avenue just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday. While she was standing there a man ran up, pushed her aside, grabbed the money from the ATM and ran, according to court documents.

The woman’s husband saw the theft from the car where he was waiting and gave chase, but couldn’t catch the robber. The couple described the robber to a deputy who realized that it sounded like a man who lived nearby.

Deputies arrested Rhamon V. Holman, 23, at his home two blocks away from the robbery. They found $400 in cash on his bed, according to court documents. He is being held in the Spokane County Jail on $50,000 bond for a charge of second-degree robbery.
