The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

Six-year-old girl of a family needs supplies for her school field trip: a sleeping bag, water-proof duffle bag, cream bug repellant, gluten-free cream sunscreen and size 3 girls water shoes and rubber boots. Contact Meredith Anderson of Frontier Behavioral Health at (509) 838-4128.

Disabled man in his late 60s needs gift cards from Walmart to purchase weather-friendly shoes, T-shirts and socks. Contact Simona Gellner at Frontier Behavioral Health at (509) 838-4128.

Two seniors need a small or medium size wire kennel for companion dog, laptop computer, lift chair, hospital bed mattress and size 4x bathrobe. Contact Mary of Elder Services at (509) 458-7450.

Young family with four children who were recently homeless and are now starting over need a high chair, playpen, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, body wash and shampoo and conditioner. Contact Zelia Elam of Parent Child Assistance Program at (509) 981-6519.
