Cheers to this exit art

Motorists exiting Interstate 90 at the Lincoln Street off-ramp will likely notice the large, circular black drum of a No-Li beer-brewing tank, reimagined as urban art by local artist Bill Simmons to reflect the role of brewing in Spokane’s history. The 30-barrel fermenter, pictured here on Oct. 3, 2017, was donated to the city by the brewery last August 2016 and will be formally dedicated in a ceremony on Oct. 13.
