The Dirt: New self-serve frozen yogurt coming to north Spokane

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt will do $200,000 in interior improvements to create a self-serve frozen yogurt bar in the Northpointe Plaza, 9986 N. Newport Highway, according to city permit records.

The franchise yogurt shop has locations in most states. The Spokane location will be its first in the Inland Northwest and its 30th in the state.

Menchie’s offers a wide variety of flavors of well over 100 flavors – including Crisp Irish Mint, Pineapple Cake, Southern Pecan Pie and Iced Coffee. The store also sells customizable cakes.

The project’s general contractor is Reacon Construction, of Liberty Lake.
