Plummer man dies after crash south of Coeur d’Alene

A Plummer, Idaho man died Tuesday after a vehicle crash on U.S. 95, four miles south of Coeur d’Alene.

Joshua D. Jim, 19, was northbound in a 1998 BMW and negotiating a slight curve, according to Idaho State Police, when a southbound 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Christopher J. Thompson, 28, of Post Falls, in the left lane of the two southbound lanes, crossed left of center and struck Jim’s vehicle.

Jim, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Kootenai Health where he was pronounced dead, according to ISP.

The crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
