The U.S. Marshals Office is seeking the public’s help in locating an armed felon last seen in Republic, Washington.

Robert W. Showers, 49, is wanted for evading law enforcement capture near 121 Lambert Creek Road on Saturday night, the U.S. Marshals Office said in a news release. He has federal arrest warrants stemming from convictions for possession of firearms and possession of explosives.

Marshals said he is currently on foot in the vicinity of Lambert Creek Road and is considered dangerous. He may be hiding in neighbors’ barns or other structures. They believe he may also try to go to Kettle Falls in Stevens County.

Showers is white, is about 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown, graying hair. He owns a dark maroon, almost black, in color Chrysler LeBaron convertible.

Anyone with information is asked to called 911. Law enforcement warned to not approach or attempt to apprehend Showers, and to not harbor him or else they could face federal charges.
