Church name incorrect

The name of Calvary Baptist Church, the oldest African American church in Spokane, was incorrect in a story in Sunday’s newspaper about the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

Newport resident misidentified

Ted Sperling is the Newport resident who was using Tax-Aide services last week. As a result of a reporter’s error, he was incorrectly identified in a Saturday business story on page A6.
