Construction

Bob Eggart has been hired as project manager at Fisher Construction Group’s Spokane office. Eggart previously worked at Washington State University, where he oversaw the development and construction of WSU’s urban campuses as lead project manager. With Fisher, Eggart is currently working on projects for Lamb Weston and Litehouse.

Engineering

Ryan Berg has been promoted to senior project manager at DCI Engineers. Berg has nine years of experience in planning, design and project management and has worked on the UHS Behavioral Health Hospital in Spokane and the WSU Terra View Research Facility in Pullman.

David Costello has been named chief sales and customer service officer for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. In the newly created position, Costello will oversee the S&CS Division, with nearly 470 employees. He joined Schweitzer in 1996 as a field application engineer and has also served as technical support director, national S&CS director and senior vice president of S&CS.

Health

Dallas Buchanan has been recognized as Two Years 10 Best Plastic Surgeons for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons, a third-party rating organization. Ratings are based on patient and peer nominations, research and AIOPS’ independent evaluation.

Ric Minudri, an obstetrician-gynecologist based in Moscow-Pullman, has received the 2018 Physician Excellence Award, as outstanding and deserving physician at Pullman Regional Hospital.

Manufacturing

Litehouse Inc. has promoted Dorrie Francis to vice president of technical service, overseeing food safety, quality, regulatory compliance and research and development teams at the salad dressing manufacturer. Francis has worked for the company since 2013 and recently led Litehouse’s push to earn the Safe Quality Food Level 3 certification, the industry’s highest achievement.

Real Estate

Windermere Valley/Liberty Lake has hired Jake Spencer and Jason Farrow as brokers. Spencer has previously worked at Keller Williams and ReMax of Spokane. Farrow most recently worked as an owner and general manager for American Van Services/Allied.

Etailz, an online marketplace retailer, has announced several new hires. Austin Hagel has been hired as account conversion analyst, coming to Etailz from the Department of Agriculture. Brian Hagues, previously with Four Peaks Brewing Co., has been hired as a controller. Josh Haley, previously with Handlebar Studio, and Diego Sanchez, formerly with Apple, have been hired as buyer I. SEO Coordinator Steve Helgerson most recently worked at Jensen Distribution Services. Caleb Hughes, hired as an account coordinator, previously worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Holly Johnson has been hired as international partner relations coordinator and comes to Etailz from Washington State University. Most recently with Nexus USA, Marcus Lull has been hired as IT tech II. Paul Matriciano, hired as test engineer II, previously worked at Charter Communications. Alex McCanna has been hired as software engineer I and previously worked at RESTful API. Test Engineer I Daniel Skrei comes to the retailer from Carlita’s. Katlin Nystrom, previously at Hillstone Restaurant Group, and Karla Olsen, from Group Benefits LLC, have been hired as partner optimization coordinators. Courtney Pierone has been hired as product analyst I and comes to Etailz from J.C. Penney. Meghan Sorensen, previously at KAYU Fox 28, has been hired as search marketing coordinator.

Alethea McCann, a franchise owner of Spherion Staffing Services, a recruiting, staffing and workforce solution provider, has been recognized with the company’s 2017 Excellence in Safety Award. The award recognizes the owner maintaining the lowest workplace injury rate. McCann oversaw a team with an unprecedented zero incident rate in 2017.
