Single-car crash north of Cusick kills three, injures two

A single-car crash killed three and injured two north of Cusick, Washington, on Wednesday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened at LeClerc Road and Cee Cee Ah Creek Road North of Cusick on the east side of the Pend Oreille River after the car went over an embankment, said Trooper Jeff Sevigney, spokesman for WSP.

The victims’ families are being notified and detectives are investigating the cause of the crash, he said.

WSP was reported to the crash at 6:30 a.m., Sevigney said.
