Tree Medic of Coeur d’Alene acquires Speciality Tree Services

Tree Medic Tree Services, of Coeur d’Alene, recently acquired Specialty Tree Services and its tree removal service from longtime arborist and owner Ken Roberge.

Coeur d’Alene-based Specialty Tree Services, which has been in business for nearly 40 years, will operate as a subsidiary of Tree Medic, which is owned by Ryan Wichman.

The two companies have worked together for years, referring business to each other, Wichman said.

Through the acquisition, company officials said they’ll be able to offer clients a range of services from planting, tree and shrub care to disease control and pest prevention, pruning and tree removal.

“Our services cover the life of a tree, from planting services to removal,” Wichman said.
