The Posies’ Auer, Stringfellow returning to the Bartlett

Last year, Bellingham-born power-pop group the Posies reunited its “Frosting on the Beater” lineup for the first time in 25 years and stopped by the Bartlett as part of its 30th anniversary tour.

“As soon as the first chord at sound check that was played, stuff just started coming out there,” co-founding member Ken Stringfellow told The Spokesman-Review last year. “It’s in there, so deep.”

But before that run of shows, Stringfellow and co-founding member Jon Auer hit the road themselves for a short run of acoustic dates.

The duo must have enjoyed that experience, and Spokane, because earlier this month Auer and Stringfellow announced another batch of duo shows, which includes another stop at the Bartlett on Jan. 26.

Tickets are $25-$30 and are on sale now through Eventbrite.
