Rainier beer launches tabs for trees campaign

CONSERVATION – Through the end of March, iconic Washington beer Rainier will feature a special red tab. For every 24 tabs collected and returned to Rainier, one tree will be planted.

Since 2014, Rainier has run its Tabs for Trees campaign partnering with Arbor Day Foundation and other local conservation groups. During that time more than 75,000 trees have been planted, according to a Rainier news release.

This year’s goal is to plant 20,000 trees.
