High-five: COPS Southeast deserves recognition for a good job of helping SPD

I would like to give a round of applause to all the volunteers at COPS shops in Spokane and in particular the ones at the Southeast branch. They do a nice job assisting the Spokane Police Department and free them up for more important duties. Recently a friend of mine had his vehicle stolen which happened to have some of my property in the pickup bed. Thanks to some very observant police work by Officer Bill with assistance from Officer Nathan and others in the SPD, the vehicle and all the property was recovered in short order even before being missed and prior to disposal by pawning, etc.

This type of proactive policing is deserving of recognition.
