Somebody needs you

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

A 38-year-old homeless man is in need of two large hockey bags to assist with packing and moving for work as soon as possible. Contact Kirk Stewart at Frontier Behavioral Health at (509) 838-4128.

A single-parent family needs a toddler bed. Contact Eric Strebeck at the Northeast Child Development Center at (509) 279-6359.

An 85-year-old man needs a four-wheeled walker with a seat and breaks. Contact Keith Sellers, Case Manager, at Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington at (509) 458-2509.
