Local Democrats to meet to elect state delegates, adopt platform

Regional Democrats will select delegates to the party’s state convention later this year and adopt a platform at their convention scheduled for Saturday.

Democratic representatives of the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 9th Legislative Districts are scheduled to meet in the gym at Cheney Middle School, 2716 N. 6th St. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the program starting at 11 a.m., according to a news release from the Spokane County Democrats.
