Baseball roundup: Hunter Dryden’s complete game with 10 strikeouts leads Deer Park over Lakeside

Hunter Dryden pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts and visiting Deer Park (11-5, 8-4) defeated Lakeside (5-13, 4-7) 10-1 on Tuesday in a Northeast A league game.

Newport 13, Medical Lake 9: Jacob Weber went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and the Grizzlies (2-11, 1-11) beat the visiting Cardinals (3-13, 1-10). Gavin O’Brien went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBIs for Medical Lake.

Freeman 14, Colville 4: Jace Thelan drove in four runs on a pair of hits and the Scotties (15-3, 11-1) defeated the visiting Indians (7-10, 6-6).

Chewelah 5, Riverside 2: Johnny Larson drove in two runs with two hits and the Cougars (15-3, 11-1) tamed the visiting Rams (6-8, 5-6).

Great Northern League

West Valley 5, Pullman 4: Blake Transue went 3 for 4 with an RBI and the visiting Eagles (11-9, 7-5) beat the Greyhounds (16-5, 8-4).

Clarkston 3, East Valley 1 (Gm 1).

East Valley 8, Clarkston 4 (Gm 2).

Northeast 1B

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 15, Northport 0 (Gm 1): Dalton Kentner drove in three runs and tallied the win and the Warriors (17-0, 11-0) defeated the visiting Mustangs (0-12, 0-11).

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 18, Northport 0 (Gm 2): Kentner tallied a pair of RBIs on two hits and the Warriors (18-0, 12-0) defeated the visiting Mustangs (0-13, 0-12).

Southeast 1B

Pomeroy 20, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 1: Billy Ruchert hit two triples and the Pirates (9-5, 9-3) beat the visiting Eagles (1-11, 0-8).

Colton 11, Garfield-Palouse 8: Cameron Bean went 2 for 4 with two triples and four RBIs and the visiting Wildcats (14-5, 11-1) beat the Vikings (6-6, 5-6). Matt Wolf earned the win and scored the go-ahead run for Colton and Seth Thompson hit a double for Gar-Pal.

Coeur d’Alene 11, Lake City 7 (Gm 1): Jayce Bailey went 3 for 5 with a home run and the visiting Vikings (9-7, 6-5) beat the Timberwolves (17-3, 8-3). Elijah Samaha went 2 for 2 with a double for Lake City.

Lake City 4, Coeur d’Alene 1 (Gm 2): Kyle Manzardo went 3 for 3 with a double and the Timberwolves (18-3, 9-3) beat the visiting Vikings (9-8, 6-6).

Intermountain League

Kellogg 1, Priest River 0: Chris Jennings and Trevor Bumgardner combined for a five-hit shutout and the visiting Wildcats (4-11, 3-6) defeated the Spartans (0-16, 0-9). Jantzen Lucas struck out 12 in a complete game performance.
