Senior Keileigh Fulbright shows up to practice every day with a smile on her face, ready to set her team up for success.

“We’re doing good, we’re undefeated so far, and we’re working like a well-oiled machine,” Fulbright said.
Last season, she was a hitter, but has spent a lot of time playing in various positions on the court, and when the Falcons senior setter graduated, it opened up the spot to anyone daring enough to give it a try.
“We lost a senior who was our setter. Someone had to step up, and I was like I’ve always wanted to be a setter, so why not. It’s been a big transition from all the other spots I’ve played but, yeah, I think I’ve been improving,” she said about the switch.
Becoming the setter meant she’d need to become a better leader on the court, which also taught her how to lead in the community.
“Our school promotes us to go out there and help, and just be part of the community and help out, so it can helps us later when we leave high school just to be a part of our community wherever we go.”
Falcons head coach Meleea Lindseth said the work her kids are doing in the community makes her more than proud.
“They do it with joy, and they don’t do it because they have to or because of the way it looks to others,:” Lindseth said. “You can see it brings them joy, and so it warms my heart.”
With her senior year now in full swing, Keileigh hopes to continue serving God, her team and her community with the remainder of the season.
“I have learned how to better use my communication skills, and just to be a team leader and use that in everyday life.”
