Numerica Credit Union has hired Kristi Cossette as a senior external loan officer in their Home Loan Center in Spokane Valley. Cossette previously was a loan officer at HomeStreet Bank and has more than 14 years of experience in the industry.

Construction

Bouten Construction Co. has hired Scott McGlocklin as director of preconstruction services. McGlocklin previously worked as senior project manager for Graham Construction.

Health

Inspire Physical and Hand Therapy has hired physical therapist Allison Warrick. She received a a doctorate of physical therapy in December from Hardin Simmons University.

Providence Health Care has announced John G. Peterson the new physician executive of Providence Spokane Heart Institute. Peterson previously served as the Heart Institute’s vice chair and has more than two decades of experience as a cardiologist at Providence Spokane Cardiology.

Miscellaneous

Sheryl McGrath has been named the associate state director of Washington Small Business Development Center. McGrath has been president of the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation since 2015 and was an administrator and senior legislative aide for the city of Spokane for four years.

Honors

Trademark Women of Distinction has selected Spokane-area dentist Jodi Funk to be included in its Honors Edition for demonstrating dedication, leadership and professional excellence in her industry. Funk retired from cosmetic dentistry in February.

CoStar group released 2018’s Power Broker Award recipients, recognizing professionals who closed the highest transaction volume in commercial property sales. Four firms and eight brokers from Spokane have been recognized. Top leasing and sales firms are Kiemle Hagood and NAI Black. Top office leasing brokers are Cory Barbieri of Goodale & Barbieri Co. and Craig Soehren of Kiemle Hagood. Top retail leasing brokers are Christopher D. Bell of NAI Black and Greg Byrd of Byrd Real Estate Group. Top industrial leasing brokers are Doug D. Byrd of Byrd Real Estate Group and Mark Lucas of Kiemle Hagood. Top sales brokers are Christopher D. Bell and Steve Ridenour, both of NAI Black.

Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene has received the Best Western Director’s Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor for quality standards. To qualify for the distinction, hotels must score in the top 20 percent of more than 2,100 North American locations in quality assurance scores.
