Coffee with a Cop event to focus on engaging with those who are hard of hearing

The Spokane Police Department’s Coffee with a Cop event Thursday will focus on offering community members who are deaf or hard of hearing an opportunity to engage with local law enforcement.

The event is not limited to those who need interpreters, and all community members are welcome.

A police officer who uses sign language and four interpreters will be present.

The Spokane Police Department has hosted Coffee with a Cop events since 2014 in an effort to engage with the community in an informal way.
