Allpak Container acquired by N.Y. investment firm

Allpak Container, which has operations in Cheney and Renton, Wash., has been acquired by Golden West Packaging Group LLC.

Allpak designs and makes high-end consumer and industrial packaging for more than 450 customers in areas such as agriculture, beauty, beverage, food, health, recreation, wine and spirits. Its customers are in the Northwest, California and British Columbia. Alpak’s Cheney operation focuses on industrial packaging.

Golden West Packaging Group is a holding company for packaging businesses. It was formed in 2017 by private investment firm Lindsay Goldberg, of New York. With completion of the Allpak acquisition, Golden West has nine manufacturing plants.
