North Spokane shooting suspect still at large

Spokane Police are still searching for a man suspected of shooting another man in the Nevada/Lidgerwood neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

The shooting was reported at about 2:30 p.m. in the area of Addison Street and Francis Avenue. One man was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. The person of interest and victim knew each other, police said Saturday.

Officer Benjamin Maplethorpe, spokesman for the Spokane Police Department, said Sunday evening that a suspect is not in custody.
