Abortion prevention

Many people try to make abortion a political or religious issue. Common sense suggests it need not be either one. Not every couple having sex wants to have another baby, for any of several reasons. If that is the case, there are many safe methods of preventing the male sperm and female egg from uniting. That way, no pregnancy occurs, and there is nothing the abort.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control website offers a free chart of methods and their reliability of each in preventing conception.

Planned Parenthood and other groups provide similar information and are often the only resources available to low income families.
