Inside the Voyage: 50 Years At Centene Stadium

Hailey Sutton SWX
“So one of the greatest things is just seeing how baseball and the fan base and the community continue to evolve and grow.” Says General Manager Scott Reasoner. “Seeing that long history between baseball and the community and kinda having a revitalization in coming back. It’s great to see some of the new programs with some of our fundraising programs and different things like that. It makes it really exciting every single day to come out to the ball park and see not only what wecan do for baseball and the White Sox but for the Great Falls Community.” “It is the original ball park that was built in 1978, but obviously there was a lot of renovations and changes, and it’s always a constant improvement of what can we add for the fans, what can we add for the players, and what can we continue to grow so that Centene Stadium always becomes a symbol of pride for Great Falls in our town.” “Oh I could not be more excited for the next 50. Hopefully knock on wood I’m still standing for the next 50 - you know, 9’s already under my belt. But just the way Great Falls has grown and continued to embrace the team and allows us to continually put more money back into the facility.” “We are actually one of the smallest markets to still have a minor league baseball team in the United States and that is something we take an immense amount pride in, and Great Falls is the reason for that, and we couldn’t be more excited to over the next 50 years continue to grow that and come up with new, exciting ways for families and folks to have fun out at the ball park.”
