Spokane Teachers Credit Union has hired Marty Dickinson as chief marketing officer. She previously worked for Skye Strategies. Dickinson is a member of the Spokane Public Facilities Board, the Association of Washington Businesses Board of Directors and the Regence Blue Shield Community Board. She was also appointed to the WSU Board of Regents by Gov. Jay Inslee.

URM Stores has hired Elizabeth Bartch as vice president of human resources. She worked previously as the director of human resources for Tedder Industries in Post Falls.

Health

Providence Spokane Heart Institute has hired cardiothoracic surgeon Alexi Matousek to practice at Providence Northwest Heart and Lung. After graduating with a master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health, he completed a general surgery residency and fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Cancer Care Northwest has hired Aabha Oza as a medical oncologist/hematologist. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Honors

The American Academy of Nursing has selected Vincent Salyers, dean of the School of Nursing and Human Physiology at Gonzaga University, to be honored among its 2019 class of academy fellows. He is also an Academy of Nursing Education Fellow.
