Brad Marek shot an 8-under-par 64 to move to 12 under and take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Lilac City Invitational on Saturday at the Fairways Golf Course in Cheney.

Marek, of Berkeley, California, holds a single-shot advantage over first-round leader Jaime Hall, who shot a second-round 69.

Three players, including Spokane native Eric Ansett, are two strokes back at 10 under. Vinnie Murphy, the 2018 champion, is six strokes back at 6 under.

The 54-hole tournament concludes Sunday.
