Postal service clarified

A story that ran on page 3 of Thursday’s news section about the Postal Service’s treatment of election mail included a quote from Secretary of State Kim Wyman saying that USPS officials told her Monday that there would be no difference from past years in how the agency treats election mail. After the story was published, Wyman clarified that while the officials told her that election mail would remain their highest priority, they did not guarantee the first-class treatment it has received in past years.

Concert online only

A story on the MultiCare cancer benefit running in the 7 section misstates the location of the concert. While musicians are performing at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, viewers can tune in only by visiting multicareheartstrings.org.
