ISAAC Foundation and Project id are raffling off She Shed
Two local organizations, the ISAAC Foundation and Project ID, are raising funds by selling raffle tickets for a fully furnished She Shed.
Those interested have until Oct. 3 to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win the She Shed, which Ziggy’s Home Improvement donated to the ISAAC Foundation and Project id. The She Shed can be delivered for free up to 50 miles.
Due to a federal law, the foundations are only able to sell raffle tickets in person or at local retail outlets. Usually, that’s not a problem, as the ISAAC Foundation typically sells raffle tickets during the Spokane County Interstate Fair. But with the fair and other big events canceled, the foundation isn’t able to reach as many people.
Raffle tickets for the She Shed are $5 and available at the following local businesses: Ziggy’s Home Improvement (Spokane, Spokane Valley, Post Falls and Hayden locations), Caruso’s (Spokane, Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene locations), North Town Insurance, Zip’s Drive In (Veradale and Post Falls location on Seltice Way), Insparations, Twenty-Seventh Heaven, Friendly Computers, Modern Tipi, Forget Me Not, Pounder’s Jewelry, Black Label Brewing Co., Dynamic Bracing and Physical Therapy, the Viking, Meyers Falls Market, E. Rose Lash Co. and Hatch Coffee Co.
The drawing for the She Shed will be on Oct. 3 during a family fun day held at Project ID, 4209 E. Pacific Ave. From noon to 3 p.m., there will be food, fun, vendors and more. The raffle will be at 3 p.m. Ticket holders need not be present to win.
The ISAAC Foundation works to enhance the lives of those touched by autism and other special needs through educational, emotional and financial support programs. Project ID provides recreation, socialization, work, personal development and transitional opportunities to adults in Spokane County with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“We rely 100% on donations,” Andrea Couch, executive assistant and marketing person for the ISAAC Foundation, said in an email. “Our kiddos and families need us more than ever right now, and in order to continue to be able to provide them services, and keep our doors open, we have to make this raffle as successful as we possibly can.”
