Gerald Ford won the Washington election for president in 1976, but Jimmy Carter won the presidency. A story on the Electoral College on the front page of Monday’s Spokesman-Review didn’t clearly state the outcome of the election, due to a reporter’s error.

Wrong highway listed

The fatal crash in Airway Heights that was mentioned in a story on Saturday’s Northwest section occurred on Highway 2. The story listed the wrong street name.
