PotlatchDeltic Corp. reports increase in Q4 earnings

PotlatchDeltic Corp. this week reported an increase in earnings during the fourth quarter 2019.

The Spokane-based company reported net income of $11.4 million – or 17 cents per share – for the fourth, compared with $1.8 million – or 3 cents per share – for the fourth quarter 2018.

PotlatchDeltic attributed the increase in earnings to strong performance by its real estate business. The company sold its legacy medium-density fiberboard plant in El Dorado, Arkansas, and completed a capital expenditure program in its mills last year.
