CMR’s Soleimani poll

Cathy McMorris Rodgers recently sent out an email congratulating President Trump for killing Soleimani. She based her quick praise on the weak justification given by the White House at that time. Once again she unflinchingly and blindly supported everything the president does.

But at the end of her email was a poll asking constituents how they felt about the killing of Soleimani. The poll results were certainly skewed, because while nearly everyone supports the removing of this madman, not everyone thinks risking war was a good reason to act.

The choices she gave in the poll ranged from “Very Supportive” to “ Very Opposed.” Since she had already stated her position as being “Very Supportive,” why did she now want to conduct a “poll” to get input?

Rodgers supports everything Trump does. Without question, she accepts Trump’s lies, ineptitude and erratic behavior. So now she suddenly wants to know how her constituents feel. What a joke! Cathy unquestionably supports Trump because she thinks it will benefit her personally and she does not have the backbone to buck the self-serving mantra of the Republican Party. She has forgotten that it is America she has pledged to serve.
