Douglas and Karen Pottratz celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Zoom celebration with family on Aug. 8.

Hosts for the event include their children and their partners, Michael Pottratz and Kim Pottratz, both of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, and Katherine Pottratz and Simon Fildes, both of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The couple were married Aug. 8, 1970, in Spokane. They have two grandchildren.
