Masks are apolitical

The article on the front page from our Mayor (Sunday 5-31-2020) had me saying aloud, NO-NO-NO! We wear a mask and will continue to do so, but it has nothing to do with being a conservative or a liberal. It is a health and responsibility thing and an effort to help control this virus.

There are always numerous sides to every situation and continuing into her article reflected that, but there was no place for giving print to the statement that wearing a mask is a conservative/liberal thing. It. Is. Not. It is a health and responsibility issue and that needs to be repeated by the people we look to, to lead us out of this situation.

P.S. Mayor, if you know you are doing the right thing and setting an example and showing your willingness to listen to other points of view and it causes you “tension,” “suck it up.” We do, every single day.
