Spokane courts expanding the dockets

Spokane’s court system will be hearing more cases as judges expand the dockets beginning Monday.
Spokane Superior Court, along with District and Municipal courts will begin hearing more criminal and civil cases.
Because of the backlog of cases, the courts anticipate busy schedules. Emergency orders spurred by the pandemic will limit seating and require anyone entering a courtroom to wear a mask.
