Stuck on a small island
My wife and I grew up in strong Republican family traditions. In fourth grade, Sister Mary Finbar asked out class at St. Paul’s grade school - How many parents are going to vote for Richard Nixon in 1964? I raised my hand in a classroom of 40+ kids by myself and Billy Cohen.
In my business life, my wife and I remained strong Republicans with smaller government and conservative fiscal spending at its core.
We are now horrified at the fiscal destruction and a Trump-led insanity that has paralyzed Senate and congressional Republicans’ voices for justice.
American citizens’ health insurance and the Republicans’ almost total disregard for worldly accepted science on climate change has put the Trump-led Republicans isolated on their small island of insanity.
