Kerns’ interactions mischaracterized

A story that appeared on the cover of the Northwest section on Sept. 16 mischaracterized Spokane County Commissioner Josh Kerns’ interactions with the Freedom Foundation. Kerns has viewed a public presentation from the organization and participated in a video it produced.

Wrong date for public comment

An article published Tuesday incorrectly stated the date the City Council took public comment. Public comment occurs at formal council meetings, which are every other week.
