‘FBI’

The new episode “Allegiance” finds the team in pursuit of a shooter who has been targeting detectives from the same precinct and unit, while the agents face increasingly strained relations with the New York Police Department. Meanwhile, Tiffany (Katherine Renee Turner) discovers that her own NYPD roots are heavily influencing her perception of the situation. Tristan Spohn, Walter Belenky and James DuMont guest star; Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Alana De La Garza and Jeremy Sisto also star. (TV14) 8 p.m. on 2.1.‘American Veteran’

The penultimate episode, “The Return,” examines how Hollywood movies about heroes returning from combat traditionally end on a triumphant note, while in the real world, the road back to civilian life can be fraught with uncertainty. To be sure, some returning service members may get a ticker tape parade, but others may confront protests, anger and silence when they get back. Wes Studi hosts this episode, which includes firsthand stories from returning veterans. (TV-14) 8 p.m. on KSPS.

‘Supergirl’

This well-received series adaptation of a DC Comics character ends its six-season run with two final back-to-back episodes, starting with “The Last Gauntlet,” which sees Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and her super allies taking desperate action after Nyxly and Lex Luthor (Peta Sergeant, guest star Jon Cryer) kidnap a loved one. Then, former cast members Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood return for the finale “Kara,” wherein Alex and Kelly (Chyler Leigh, Azie Tesfai) prepare to wed even as Supergirl has a final confrontation with Lex. (TV-PG) 8 p.m. on KSKN.

‘Queen Bees’

A stellar ensemble cast buoys Michael Lembeck’s somewhat uneven 2021 romantic comedy, with Ellen Burstyn starring as Helen Wilson, a fiercely independent widow who resists her daughter’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) pleas for her to move into a nursing home, until a fire destroys Helen’s kitchen after she locks herself out of her home. Helen predictably has trouble fitting in at the Pine Grove facility, but a charming senior (James Caan) changes her attitude. Ann-Margret, Jane Curtin, Christopher Lloyd, Loretta Devine and French Stewart also star. 8 p.m. on SHOW.

‘Frontline’

The new “Pandora Papers” examines the global entanglement of political power and secretive offshore finance, resulting in U.S.-based trusts sheltering millions in dubious assets. This two-year probe by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists reveals many of those hidden assets, as well as the secret deals of some of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful individuals, including more than 130 billionaires, 35 country leaders and some 300 other politicians and public officials. 9 p.m. on KSPS.

‘Storage Wars’

A father-son “shootout” erupts in Victorville, California, as Ivy and Pops compete to prove which of them knows how to reap the best profit in the new “Fears of a Clown,” the first of two back-to-back episodes. Meanwhile, Kelly is there to save the day when Brandi gets more than she bargained for. Then, in “Stand and Re-Deliver,” Kenny is brimming with confidence about his three-step plan for success in Stanton, while Darrell helps Kimber find great items for her new boutique. (TV-PG) 9 p.m. on A&E.

‘Dear Rider’

This new feature-length documentary from filmmaker Fernando Villena celebrates the life and vision of Jake Burton Carpenter, a pioneer who propelled the sport of snowboarding into a global and cultural phenomenon before his 2019 death from cancer at age 65. Widely known professionally as Jake Burton, Carpenter created his first snowboard in 1977 as an inexpensive alternative to skiing, then moved on to create increasingly versatile boards. The film includes interviews with family members, friends and such sports icons as Shaun White, Kelly Clark and Mark McMorris. 9 p.m. on HBO.

‘Great Escapes With Morgan Freeman’

Not, as the title may suggest, a breezy travel series, this engrossing new docuseries finds host Morgan Freeman walking viewers through a step-by-step account of some of the most fascinating prison breaks in history. The series premiere, “Alcatraz,” looks back at a 1962 attempt to break out of what at the time was considered the most technologically secure prison in America. Brothers Philip and John Anglin masterminded the scheme, while enlisting the help of other inmates. (TV-PG) 10:03 p.m. on HIST.

“Storage Wars” cast members Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz attend the A&E Networks 2013 Upfront in 2013 in New York.
