Clark Fork High School graduate Taylor Staley was announced as a scholarship recipient from the Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness for her outstanding story about a memorable wilderness experience.

Annual Backpacks for Kids Campaign

The Salvation Army of Spokane and Nomnom convenience stores will partner for the 13th Annual Backpacks for Kids campaign through the month of July. Funds raised will help to support the distribution of new backpacks with school supplies to local students, grades K-12 in August. Donate at local Nomnom convenience stores. Contributors will receive a coupon for a free fountain soda or coffee.
