‘Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer’
It’s time to spill the big secret – the one involving dollar signs and zeros – in the season finale “Dates, Decisions and Dollar Amount Revealed.” In this final hour, both Joes – Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers – must select their final lady and bid farewell to the other contenders. Then, in the moment of truth, they reveal the truth about how fiscally formidable each of them is, which in turn may determine whether true love outweighs their bank accounts. ‘Restaurant: Impossible Host’
Robert Irvine finds himself confronted with an all-too-familiar problem – namely a restaurant owner who refuses to change with the times – in the new episode “Holding on to the Past.” This time around, the setting is the Rest Haven eatery in Clarksdale, Mississippi, where owner Paula’s stubbornness is destroying her father’s Lebanese restaurant. Her son is ready to take the reins, but Robert Irvine must teach Paula to trust her son and her staff or risk losing the family legacy forever. (TVPG) 8 p.m. on FOOD.
‘Fix My Flip’
Best known to her legion of fans for her hit series “Flip or Flop Nashville,” licensed real estate agent Page Turner returns to her home turf in California to help overwhelmed property flippers in this new six-episode series. In each episode, Turner meets with clients who have become mired in seemingly hopeless financial situations in the middle of a flipping project. In the series premiere, Turner comes to the aid of a mother-daughter duo in Lake Arrowhead, California, with a solution that involves undoing some already-completed work. 9 p.m. on HGTV.
‘Swamp People’
Water levels are rising quickly in the new episode “Battle of Black Lagoon,” forcing Leron and Porkchop to race the swiftly incoming tide. Elsewhere, Willie goes after his old foe, nicknamed Black Lagoon, while Ronnie and Ashley use their airboat to reach new honey holes. Meanwhile, Joey and Zak struggle through a heavily wasp-infested canal. (TVPG) 9 p.m. on HIST.
‘B Positive’
In the Season 2 finale, “Juneau, Froyo and Ronald Reagan,” Gina (Annaleigh Ashford) faces a wrenching decision when she gets an attractive offer to sell Valley Hills to a rival assisted living facility. ‘Pivoting’
This freshman sitcom about three female friends further bonded by the death of a fourth wraps up the season with a finale called “Coleen in a Box,” a reference to the dearly departed, whose birthday is approaching. In honor of that occasion, Amy, Sarah and Jodie (Eliza Coupe, Maggie Q, Ginnifer Goodwin) decide to table their individual personal issues to enjoy a girls’ night out – with the late Coleen’s cremated remains along for the ride. ‘Nightwatch’
Season 6 opens with “Yardi Gras,” set in New Orleans where the coronavirus pandemic has forced the cancellation of traditional parades with their attendant large crowds. In response, festive local residents have decorated their yards to reflect the spirit of this season. While the parades may be on hold, however, the same can’t be said of emergencies, with the EMT crew responding to a collision between a personal vehicle and a streetcar, a house fire, a motorcycle accident and a patient who may be having a heart attack.
