J. Michael and Cheryl Britton are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a gathering of family and friends on Sept. 22.

Their children are Erin and Mike Kuttel Jr., of Spokane Valley, and John Christopher and Dovie Britton of West Fork, Arkansas.

The couple were married Sept. 22, 1973, in Spokane. They have four grandchildren.
