University High School sophomore Sindhu Surapaneni competed in HOSA’s Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, last month and earned fourth place in the Job Seeking Skills category.
The competitive event required students to prepare a personal statement and resume and participate in a mock interview with judges for health-related positions.
The conference featured competitive events, educational workshops, an expo and leadership development activities. More than 13,000 students participated .
