Ferris grad Andrew Kittredge helps Cubs reach NLDS

The Chicago Cubs turned to Ferris graduate Andrew Kittredge to get the final two outs of their wild-card series with San Diego.

After Chicago reliever Brad Keller allowed a home run to Jackson Merrill and hit two straight batters, Kittredge was brought into the game with one out in the ninth inning.

Kittredge induced a ground out and a fly out to end the game, earning the save.

The Cubs advance to play top-seeded Milwaukee in the NLDS.
