Girl Scout cookie season has finally arrived. See this year’s flavor lineup.
Girl Scout cookie season has finally arrived.
Girl Scouts of the USA, the girl-led entrepreneurial program, is gearing up to sell some of its most famous cookies, including Thin Mints, through the spring.
As if that weren’t exciting enough news for cookie enthusiasts everywhere, GSUSA is also adding a new cookie to the lineup: Exploremores. Exploremores, a rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookie, that “reflects the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout.”
According to GSUSA, proceeds from each box of Girl Scout Cookies sold, including Exploremores, stay with local troops and councils to fund “life-changing programs, experiences and learnings” throughout the year.
Girl Scouts also acquire leadership and entrepreneurial skills needed for “brighter futures” all while working to earn the coveted My First Cookie Business, My Cookie Customer and My Cookie Team badges. GSUSA is also working closely with Adobe, a national sponsor of the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program.
“Girl Scout Cookie season is always a moment of joy and tradition, and this year promises to be incredibly exciting,” Wendy Lou, who oversees the cookie program, said in a statement.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the new, delicious Exploremores cookie to the iconic cookie lineup people know and love,” Lou added. “With every purchase, consumers directly support local Girl Scouts’ abilities to explore more opportunities in STEM, the outdoors and more.”
Here’s what to know about the 2026 Girl Scout cookie season, including the flavors that make up the lineup.

Girl Scout cookie flavors
Eleven cookie flavors, including a new one called “Exploremores,” are available for purchase this season. Consumers who are looking to get a Toast-Yay! or S’mores fix are out of luck, as those two cookie flavors were discontinued at the end of the 2025 season.
According to Girl Scouts, availability varies, depending on the area, so contact your local Girl Scout council to find out which varieties are available near you, or enter your ZIP code on the Meet the Cookies page.
