Historic Flight Foundation visits Felts Field
The Historic Flight Foundation, based at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, brought five historic aircraft to Felts Field Friday, June 2, 2017 to put on display at Neighbor Day, Felts' annual open house and air show. The five aircraft are a P-51 Mustang, F8F Bearcat, a Grumman TBF Avenger, a DeHavilland Beaver and a Douglas DC-3. All will be on display Saturday for the crowds that will flock to the airport. The DC-3, an excellent example of the plane that modernized air travel, though this example is outfitted for corporate travel.
