Great Falls/CMR Swimming Preview

After a historic season where both teams advanced to state and multiple individuals had top finishes, the Electric City swimming teams will look to build off of 2018’s success. For CMR, it was an incredible year, as the boys took home second overall, with several swimmers finishing in the top five. The girls weren’t far behind, they finished fifth. As for the Bison, still a good year in the pool, with finishes at fifth and 13th overall. Head Coach Ed McNamee says the team knows what they have to work on to succeed. "There's always room for improvement, we've got a lot of spaces to fill for the CMR guys that graduated, lot of points, so we're gonna have to have some younger guys step in. Great Falls guys have a lot coming back, senior Bill Evans is really gonna be the guy to lead that team. And then on the CMR girls, side, they graduated some points but I like what they have coming back, a lot of young talent that I think is going to make a big difference for them." Said McNamee
