Northwest Passages - Author Jim DeFede

Former Spokesman-Review reporter Jim DeFede, who has worked in newspapers and TV in Miami, Florida for the past few decades, visited the Northwest Passages Book Club Monday, Aug. 8, 2022 to talk about his book "The Day The World Came To Town," which inspired the hit musical "Come From Away," the Broadway smash that is playing in Spokane this week. With Anne Walter posing the questions, he also told hilarious stories about his reporting career and his ability to gain rapport with serial killers and rapists.
