Audio slideshow, pasta, notes about summer camp guide

Typical meeting this morning with a few editors' picks from online and in print. Here's a rundown:

Check out photographer Jesse Tinsley's audio slideshow on Video Journal, which accompanies a story in the Voices tomorrow.

• The latest on consumer goods: "Rising food costs squeeze consumers, agencies" from page A1, but if homemade can be cheaper...

• That's a delicious-looking pasta photo (by Rajah Bose), folks said, which accompanies feature reporter Jim Kershner's story about doing it from scratch.

Bring on the warm weather

If you're looking for the Summer Camp guide, it's in today's paper. The original plan was to have it inside Sunday's to reach more people (including Sunday-only subscribers), but after some conversations across departments, that section has been put inside today's paper and tucked in with the Food section and grocery advertisements. Each weekday morning and afternoon, the newsroom staff meets to discuss the coverage plan. This blog covers editors' discussions, upcoming coverage and miscellaneous newsroom news.
