How will climate change affect the Inland Northwest?



Looking for something else to do tomorrow night besides cry tears of joy or sadness over election returns? Join Sun Dry People Goods for a special event. They’re part of panel made up of made up of regional business and environmental leaders who will talk about their unique perspectives in addressing this important issue, and do their best to answer your questions. Additional represenatives are from The Land’s Council and Friends of Scotchman’s Peaks Wilderness. They'll talk about how their organizations are responding to the changes happening now, and their efforts to lessen or reverse the local impact of climate change in the future.

Where: St. Aloysius Parish Center, Antonian Room
330 East Boone Ave. (Corner of Boone and Astor.)  South side of building.

Sun Dry People Goods should open soon at 24 W. 2nd Ave. It aims to be the “go to place” in Spokane for information on green living—creating activists out of consumers. We will have tons of great locally, regionally and nationally produced items that help you live a more simple, less energy-intensive, more ecological lifestyle.
