Writers put strike in context

It’s hard for somebody – namely, most of us – to feel sorry for show-biz types who complain about not getting paid.

Take the writers who are striking against the corporations that, they say, aren’t paying them extra for using their content online, etc.

Hey, sell one of your BMWs if you’re feeling the pinch!

Then again, what if your boss was, say, taking photos of you, say, serving hamburgers and selling them to a corporation? For, say, hundreds of dollars? And, say, pocketing the money?

You’d want some of that cash, too, right?

Take a look at the imbed posted below. It’s Jason Ross, one of the 14 writers for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” explaining the writers’ case in the way most of us can understand best: in the “Daily Show” format.
